World Book Day 2024

This World Book Day we asked the children to take a simple potato and turn it into their favorite book character. What a response we had in all the amazing book characters we received!! Check out all the photos!

Each year group then had a winner selected by a member of staff from different classes and they each received a book and an Easter Egg. 

Along with this Mrs Comiskeys class re-inacted the story of 'The Bear Hunt' and some children performed their poems that they won prizes for in the Portadown Festival. Check out the video in the video section. 

In the afternoon children then shared story time with the older children reading stories to the younger ones.

Such a lovely World Book Day was had by everyone.
