St. Patricks College Primary School Blitz

The P6/7 boys qualified from their group stage games to play in the Cardinal Brady Competition Semi-Final against Our Lady’s Tullysarran. After a drawn game at full-time and extra time the game was decided on penalties. Cian Clarke was the hero of the hour saving two spot kicks.

The boys produced a valiant effort in the final but finished runners up to St Patrick’s Armagh. Every boy got a game in the competition and a medal for their efforts. Well done to everyone involved who did their school proud.

A huge thank you to the College for inviting us to the Blitz and the students who organised the day’s football. Thank you also to Ciaran Conway who assisted so well with our school team.
